DO NOT USE SMART GLASS IN DENVER

So if you walked out to your car and saw this post-it note on your car's mirror, what would you think?

Well for Kristi, who did get this note on her car today, she thought someone had run into her car. Totally freaked out, she walked around her car looking for damage. Nothing. So then, being a woman, in a dark parking garage, she got a little freaked out and worried.

So she got in her car, called to tell me what was happening. We figured she should call and find out what was going on in case her car was broken somehow, so she did. A few minutes later she called me back and told me who left it there. You know what it was?

A FREEKIN' SMART AUTO GLASS TRYING TO DRUM UP BUSINESS!

Unbelievable. Is putting cryptic post-it notes on people's cars and tricking them into calling your company really a good marketing plan? NO. Kristi didn't appreciate it, I didn't appreciate it, and you ladies and gents shouldn't appreciate it.

So let's fight back, eh?

If you have a blog, and you would be so kind, please make a post (it can be super short) that talks about what Smart Glass did to Kristi. If you'd like to voice your dissatisfaction directly, you can reach Smart Glass by calling 303-296-0809.

Thanks in advance for your help. Let me know if you write a post and I'll link to it from here.

UPDATE: Looks like we are getting some traction her. Check out these posts about Smart Glass:

Thanks for posting Jack! You gotta come out to happy hour soon!

Found via Jack's blog. Post is made!

Your a piece of shit. I hope that post it didn't leave a mark on the car, that would be horrible. By the way, how does it feel to have a little dick?

Hmmmm...ladies and gents, meet your favorite Smart Glass customer. Actually, the comment came from the IP address 67.40.40.49 which it turns out belongs to Watershed Investment Partners in Greenwood Village, CO. Since the person who was so bold as leave a vulgar comment like that without leaving a name, I guess all I can do is point to the IP it came from...that is, unless you want to leave another comment with your name...

I got the same note on my car and did the same thing as Kristi. However, I did need some work done on my windshield and they quoted me a good price to come to my home and install a new one. They have rescheduled this appointment 3 times, but only after waiting the 2 hour window they gave me. Will I ever get my windshield installed?

Holy cow! That's pretty wild that they would waste 6 hours of your time like that. Any reason why you wouldn't just get another company to do the work at this point?

Got one today. Keep the site going!

May 2008. The Grandparents borrowed our car to take the grandkids out. A couple of days later we found this post it on the floor of the car. There was no damage to the car. I was too paranoid to call the number, so I put it in google. It came up with a site that complained about it, and that was in 2004! Thank you for lettng others know about this. It is obviously not a quality company to ever do business with.
