Tonight I upgraded my MacBook Black from 1GB of RAM to 2GB...and it only took 10 minutes. Seriously, if you're using a 1GB MacBook, do yourself a favor and upgrade yours to 2GB.

Apple makes the upgrade easy by having directions for the upgrade right in the MacBook manual...but here is the thing, don't rely on Apple for the RAM itself, since they charge $300 for it. Instead, by from a third party like Other World Computing, where I got mine for $100. Here is the link.

OH YEAH! If you are going to get a MacBook Black, DON'T BUY IT AT THE APPLE STORE! If you buy though this Amazon link you don't have to pay tax (saves you about $125) and you get a $100 rebate!
