My First Squidoo Lens – Banksy

Squidoo Logo
I took some time yesterday to build my first Squidoo lens – and I gotta say it was a pretty cool experience. Building the lens was very easy, the UI is straightforward, and the end result is darn good.

Here is the Banksy lens I created. I really dug the ability to add a the YouTube video and Flickr photo modules.

The more I check out other Squidoo lenses, the more opportunity I see in the idea.

Very cool stuff.

Very interesting piece on Banksy. The stencil on the wall in Israel was moving. Great find!
I'll keep checking your sight.

I just listened to Mike Arrington of TechCrunch go through his list of "winning" "very good bets", "sites to watch" and "what were they thinking?" web sites.

I was surprised to see Squidoo on Arrington's list of "what were they thinking?" sites.

While he likes and respects Godin and his work, it seems Arrington thinks Squidoo falls short when it comes to social networking apps.

Truthfully, I haven't used Squidoo enough to form a solid opinion...but what are your thoughts on its sustainability? Have you found room for improvement since this post?

Very nice site! rolex replica watch
